EARLY INTERVENTION
INSTRUCTIONAL THERAPIST/INTERN/EXTERN
Teach Children and Have Fun
Requirements.
- Good academic
standing
- Access to a car
- Coursework in
psychology, education, or other related fields.
Gain Experience:
-
Learn how to conduct one-to-one positive
behavioral therapy with a child in their home or preschool
classroom.

Provide a minimum of 7-24 in-home therapy
hours per week with a child.

Attend a weekly 1-hour team meeting at our
Brookeville office.

Learn how to record accurate notes and data to
track the child’s performance.
-
Complete a comprehensive training program
(CPR/First Aid certification included).
-
Experience working collaboratively with Ph.D.
supervision.

For interns and externs, freedom to create
your own projects related to autism and the center to match your
specific program requirements.
