Special Gift
On Nov. 21,
2005, the Jane Salzano Center for Autism offices welcomed a special
guest who brought with him a very special gift. Mr. Julius Okanlawon,
uncle to one of CSAAC’s school students, donated 20 fresh turkeys
just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Joseph
Gousie, Sr. Executive Director, CSAAC, presented him with a
Certificate of Appreciation in honor of his generous gift and CSAAC
staff, including Nutritionist Janet Knapp; Director of Support
Services Jan Miller Vogel; Assistant Executive Director of
Operations Ian M. Paregol; Assistant Director for Building
Facilities and Administration Craig Pardini; and Director of
Community Development for CSAAC Foundation Ayda Sanver, were all
on-hand to thank Mr. Okanlawon. The turkeys graced the tables
in 20 CSAAC residences on Thanksgiving Day, and we are deeply
grateful for Mr. Okanlawon’s continued support of CSAAC’s mission.
