Deloitte Impact Day at CSAAC

On Friday, June 8, 2007, approximately 100 employees of Deloitte, a worldwide leader in financial advisory services, volunteered their time at CSAAC’s Brookeville Campus of the Community School of Maryland to give it a makeover!  Craig Pardini, Assistant Director for Building Facilities and Administration coordination with Deloitte and DC Cares made this event possible.  Deloitte Impact Day is the annual day of service for employees of Deloitte to assist local nonprofits with special projects.   Greater DC Cares identifies, plans and organizes the volunteer activities for Deloitte Impact Day.  The volunteers from Deloitte completed many repairs and landscaping jobs around the Brookeville campus that included painting the entire upstairs of the school building and the gymnasium; power washing the IEI, related services and after-school services buildings, and landscaping the front driveway, just to mention a few.   The students and faculty at the Brookeville campus extend their sincere thanks to Deloitte and DC Cares for making this possible.
